Trends in Vine Sales

The most popular verieties for vineyard planting in recent years have been Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Together with Pinot Meunier, they are being planted in large numbers to produce top class sparkling wines. Many clones of these classic varieties are being ordered, and a wide range of rootstocks is used to suit different soils. Other vine varieties which are selling well to vineyards are Bacchus, Ortega, Dornfelder, Seyval Blanc and the modern resistant varieties Rondo, Regent, Phoenix and Solaris.

We are also major suppliers of grapevines to the garden centre trade. The best selling varieties in this sector are the modern outdoor eating grapes, seedless varieties, and the resistant wine grapes such as Regent and Phoenix
