A Boutique Vineyard for East Sussex

Last week The Vinehouse UK was lucky to spend a few days in the High Weald AONB planting a small but versatile vineyard. Whilst small in scale, the vines here are perfect choices for those looking for disease resistant and low maintenance varieties that still produce exceptional wines. We planted a selection of Solaris, Souvignier Gris, Rondo and Regent which will all blend nicely to create a range of wines.

In this instance, the vineyard is built on adjustable, metal trellising which allows the tension to and wires to be adjusted throughout the growing season. Metal trellising is a longer-lasting alternative to wood and will support the vines through even the worst of storms for years to come.
