In May we had the pleasure to return to Goosebeck Vineyard near York to assist in planting an expansion in the vineyard. Goosebeck are planting Divico, Regent, Sauvignac, Sauvitage as well as Pinot Noir to complement their existing planting. In early May 2026 The Vinehouse UK completed a small expansion to Towthorpe Vineyard just outside of York. This expansion is planting a number of different varieties, some new to the vineyard including Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Cortis and Divico as well as Sauvitage, Seyval Blanc and Solaris which are always proving popular in northern england.
